Route: 20 kilometers, cumulative: 1,027 kilometers | Elevation: 70 meters, cumulative elevation: 4,050 meters, distance from home: 777 kilometers (as the crow flies).

After yesterday's walk, I was so tired that I fell asleep while watching a movie and only woke up after 11 p.m. By then, I no longer felt like watching a movie and just went back to sleep. 😴

After 7 a.m., I started packing, even though I was in no hurry at all. My trip to Travemünde was just a hop away. A few more kilometers were added because I wanted to take a look at the town of Travemünde this time. Oddly enough, I just now realized where the name of the town comes from. The river Trave flows into the Baltic Sea here. The Trave flows through Lübeck, and I took the described boat trip yesterday. Lübeck is very large in area, and Travemünde is also part of it, along with all the places I passed through today.

In Travemünde, I sat in a street café and watched the people. There were a lot of people, most of them tourists. Then I had to do what is simply expected during a visit to the Baltic Sea: eat a fish sandwich.

Later on, I added a few more kilometers on my bike; I had to ride back a bit to the big harbor. And here I am now, waiting until I can board the ship at 11 p.m. I expect to be able to go to my cabin at midnight to sleep again.
