Sun in the morning, our stay in Hungary includes sights and tourist highlights. We explore these by bike. Today it's the Neusiedler See on the Austrian side that is next. About 25 kilometers from Hegykö. Eight of us cycle over hills and wide prairies, up and down mountains, through forests and vineyards. In the distance, we can already see the marshy steppe, where the waters of the lake occasionally peek through. Now this beautiful landscape is a nature reserve. Upon arriving in Fertörakos, we search for a local eatery, which is not so easy, but then find a great spot where we fortify ourselves with goulash soup, bread, and palatschinken.
