In the morning we went from the center of Oetz straight back to the wild Ache, still as untamed as ever. After a few kilometers, we turned into a forest and walked up and down narrow paths until we reached the beautiful Habicher Lake. From there we went uphill again and again to Elisabeths Höhe in Tumpen. Past the Engelswand, where the climbers have their practice mountain, we continued through the district of Lehn up to the Wienersteig. Then came the highlight of the day, the Stuibenfall, the largest waterfall in Tyrol. Here, Lars and I parted ways. Lars preferred to climb the altitude on the via ferrata, while I had to take about 750 steps over the Stuiben Bridge and the Stuiben Tower to get to the top of the waterfall. After we both arrived at almost the same time, we had a beer or two and went to our accommodation for today in Niederthai. Today's route was 19 km, with an ascent of 1,100 m and a descent of 340 m.
