Ötztal Urweg Stage 1 from Ötztal train station to Oetz

Today, we started the Ötztal Urweg from the Ötztal train station to Oetz, 12km, ascent 502m, descent 402m. Starting from the train station, the path first led flat to the Ötztaler Ache, along the outdoor paradise AREA 47, before we entered the Auerbacher Klamm. Here, we quickly gained altitude for the day. Then it was always slightly downhill, passing through small villages, to our destination today Oetz. A light warm-up in pleasant temperatures and sunshine.
