Berkeley Botanical Garden and wedding

Saturday, October 7th, 2023, day 7

Today the entire day was under the light of Olga and Jens' wedding. To do this, we first drove to her house and were picked up from there by a bus. The bride and bridesmaids had already driven ahead, so 20 of us accompanied the groom. The destination was the Botanical Garden in Berkeley in the amphitheater. As we drove over the Bay Bridge towards the East Bay we had fantastic views of the Bay. Then we went steeply up to UCB University of Berkeley and from there we could see the San Francisco skyline all the way to the Golden Gate. The wedding took place in a small amphitheater in the middle of a forest of redwood trees. It was spectacular. Afterwards there was a lovely reception before we were invited to dinner and then dancing.
