No rest for the weary!
Just when I was trying to take it slow again, I got a call at half past eleven. Do you want to come with me to Norddalen and go cross-country skiing?
With the sky clearing up and the sun coming out, I headed back to BUA, where I rented my way-too-long skis again. Then, together with the school principal, we hit the slopes, this time on a professional trail that had been groomed.
So, I gave it another try and had no problems on the flat terrain. The hills, on the other hand, were more of a challenge. With the skis that were too long, I could only brake to a limited extent, and steering was also difficult. With a few falls because I couldn't brake or didn't see bumps in the snow, we ended the little excursion and headed back to Dale through an idyllic landscape.
Just as I was about to change and crawl into bed, a snowstorm started with such big flakes that I immediately put my clothes back on and had to take a little walk and take many photos.
As you can see, you always have to adjust to the weather here and always be ready to do sports :
Wishing you all a nice (and active) weekend!
