After the Kruger National Park, there is a short trip to the Kingdom of Swaziland! A small monarchy in the middle of South Africa that is very mountainous!
The landscape is reminiscent of South Tyrol with large mountains and endless forests, but one thing doesn't fit: 🦓
Zebras and springboks graze the mountainsides and create an unreal picture.
Small detail on the side: polygamy is allowed in Swaziland. So the king has 13 wives, each living in a royal residence.
He is allowed to take on a new wife every year, but in recent years he has refrained from exercising this right!
Queen is his mother, who will be succeeded in the succession by his first wife.
The fact that some of his wives have already fled suggests that the living conditions of the women are not particularly pleasant.
The majority of the inhabitants do not have electricity or running water, which is why a change is sought.
