We started our journey to Stuttgart by train on Monday 14.10 at 2 PM. From there, we continued to Frankfurt by ICE train. While we were sitting on the train to Frankfurt, Domi (Svenja's brother) surprised us and traveled with us to Frankfurt.
Arriving in Frankfurt, we dropped off our luggage and spent some more time with Domi.
Our flight then departed on time at 8:30 PM towards Cape Town.
Fortunately, we both slept well and arrived refreshed in Cape Town on Tuesday 15.10 at 8:00 AM in the morning.
Our transfer to the accommodation was at 2:00 PM, so we stayed at the airport in the meantime.
Our house in Gordon's Bay is located on a mountain right on the coast. From up there, you have a beautiful view of Gordon's Bay.
In our house, there are 15 other girls who are all between 18-23 years old.
The next day, we had an orientation day that started with a visit to a kindergarten in town ship (a poor district) where we were allowed to distribute fruit to the children.
Afterwards, we learned everything worth knowing about Cape Town and the kindergartens/schools.
We spent the afternoon in a shopping center and were brought back to the house.
