Namibia

We left for the airport in Cape Town on Tuesday morning.

We flew to Namibia on a really small plane. The airport in Namibia is very small. We took a taxi from there to our hotel.

In the afternoon, we went to the city for dinner. The city is also small and very African compared to Cape Town. There are almost no tourists there.

We spent the evening comfortably in our hotel room, and after weeks, we even had a German TV channel, SAT1. :)

We also spent Wednesday in the city. We went to a market called "craft market." There are many small stalls there that sell handmade accessories, wooden animals, etc. For lunch, we went to a mall where we strolled around a bit.

On Thursday after breakfast, we were picked up by a driver from the Okutala lodge, along with the other girls.

The drive to our accommodation in the park took about 5 hours.

When we arrived, we checked out the farm first. Right in front of our farm, we saw elephants and gemsbok (oryx). In the evening, we had a braai (barbecue) at our farm.
