After a few days of rest, I'm/We're back with a sign of life.

I was feeling quite down and also felt sick. The constant noise from the traffic is very exhausting. But now I'm back on the rise.

On Monday, a project choir started in our church, where I'm also singing. We had 6 women and 5!!! men. The choir director is from Guatemala, and our organist accompanies on the piano. In the first rehearsal, we focused a lot on rhythm and movement, which is a completely new approach for me. It's all in Spanish, and I'm able to strengthen my Spanish skills, and some women speak German and have welcomed me very warmly. You immediately connect here. We are rehearsing in the choir for a Christmas concert.

Yesterday, a woman from the community visited us and is available anytime for questions and problems. That is a great help. But we are also in contact with the church board. Martin's work is also taking more and more shape. Even the German ambassador has reached out to us and wants to get to know us. In the coming days, Martin also wants to contact Panama, where there's a small community that we might visit as well.

Yesterday we were in a large park with beautiful plants and trees, about a 30-minute walk away. We also found a nicer route there that doesn't go directly along the main road. I'll take that route for running as well.

It has become a bit cooler and the sky is cloudier. Yesterday it was dry until 3:30 PM, but then it started pouring again heavily for hours. By now, we are at the point where we would also like to take a trip out of San José. However, we have to expect a lot of travel time.

A crafting group for the Advent bazaar is about to start here. I can contribute my creative ideas there.

Angelika
