Highlights of the day:
When I was here last year without my husband, construction was still going on, many sections of the park were closed and unusable. Today, the expansion of the park is nearly complete. The only downside: the major attraction “Bahamut Rage” is closed for maintenance. We later learn that the day before, the ride got stuck and the passengers had to endure 40-degree heat in the sun until they were “rescued”. Well, I really don’t need that today...

By the way, we are (as in previous years) almost alone in the park at 10 AM!
We test all the new tube slides, my husband tries the other slides, while I settle under a water fountain in the children's area. I physically reach my limits. Climbing countless stairs to the towers in nearly 40-degree heat, in the scorching sun without shade, is really exhausting. I soon suffer from headaches and dizziness and skip further sliding adventures. After we slide down the “Falcon Nest” and the
