Tag 11 (2019) Museum of Illusions, Dubai Frame, Dubai Garden Glow & Dubai Fountain

After breakfast, we are once again... that's right... heading to Dubai!

Today we booked a 2-bedroom apartment at the City Premiere Hotel Apartments. The good news: the apartment is available from morning and it gets even better: we are upgraded to an apartment with a 'Khalifa view' 🤩🤩

After settling into our apartment, we head to the beach at the 'La Mer' promenade. However, everything seems very deserted here, and the 'Laguna Waterpark' is also abandoned. 

Next, we go to Old Dubai City at the Dubai Creek. Here is the 'Museum of Illusions'. The entrance fee is 22 € (adults) and 16 € (kids), which is not cheap, but the museum is really 'small but fine'. We have a lot of fun trying out and exploring the many 'illusions'.

After checking everything out, we head to the Dubai Frame.

Cool place, great view of the Khalifa, and relatively inexpensive entry! Highly recommended! We stay until dusk and explore the surrounding area from the frame in the darkness.

Next, we go right next door to Dubai Glow. A fireworks display of colors and lights! It’s incredible what has been created here with lights. We like it very much too!

Around 8 PM, we reach the Dubai Mall, but this time we skip walking around a lot inside and spend our time outside by the water displays. We have dinner outside at Pizza Hut and after about 4 more water displays, we leave the Dubai Mall and head back to the apartment. The only downside is the mega traffic jam waiting for us at the exit from the parking garage....

For the nearly 2 km, it takes us almost 30 minutes 🙈🙈

Around 11 PM, we are quite tired and worn out in the apartment and take one last look at the Khalifa today.
