Tag 12 (2019) Atlantis the Palm & Aquaventure Waterpark

After breakfast, we head from Downtown Dubai to the Palm. We treated ourselves to another night at Atlantis the Palm!

Still not a bargain, but considering that we paid 580 € for the room (2 queen beds/4 people) - including half board, mind you - AND we now have 2 days of free admission to the Aquaventure Waterpark, it’s almost a steal! 😂😅💸💸💸

(2 days admission for 4 people: 640 € (!!!); dinner at the Kaleidoscope Restaurant Atlantis the Palm approximately 150 € so that makes it 790 € WITHOUT the hotel stay... so: steal!!)

After checking into our room (which fortunately is already ready, we have a room with a view of the sea - not the city), we change into our swimsuits and head to the waterpark! We take a golf buggy to the kiosk, where we receive our bands for the park, then continue into the park. We ride the highlights, float through the lazy river, and play in the wave pool.

The slide through the shark aquarium is a must, but it’s so crowded now that we’ll postpone that until tomorrow.

As the park closes, we leave and head back to the hotel via golf buggy.

The highlight tonight, besides the aquarium/Lost Chamber, is the buffet at the Kaleidoscope restaurant! Amazing! Always sooooo delicious!

With full bellies, we walk through the Lost Chambers Aquarium (which is included in our hotel stay) and then crash into bed.

Tomorrow will be another action-packed day at the waterpark 🤪
