Day 10 (2019) IMG Worlds of Adventure Dubai

Today, we have a set schedule and are considering what we want to do after breakfast.

The kids quickly agree: amusement park!

Phew... alright... here we go again 🤣

I find a discount code for IMG - Worlds of Adventure in Dubai. We visited it for the first time two years ago. It was actually quite fun. My son was still quite small then and might be able to enjoy more attractions this time (or at least be brave enough...!?)

Okay, let's go!

We arrive at the park around 11:30 - what can I say... we are the FIRST ONES!!!!

Can you believe it???? Just like two years ago, there is nothing happening here today. Unbelievable!!! Who are they building all these amusement parks for??? Is no one going in???

Of course, we prefer it this way rather than if it were completely packed.

Once again, a park just for us!

We explore all the attractions. The kids have discovered their love for the Spiderman roller coaster... I can't handle it, it keeps spinning. So, I'm out after one try...

The indoor roller coaster is just as intense as last year, and the outdoor dino coaster is fun.

We didn't go into the haunted house 'Haunted Hotel' last time since you have to be at least 16 years old, and the kids were too young. I wasn't really keen on it anyway...

But my husband is testing the house with our daughter, who is now 15 and allowed to go in. They come out excited and laughing loudly, and I have to go in with my daughter again. Wow, that's really not for me... when someone is lurking behind every door and corner to scare you. I'm relieved when we are finally outside 😅😅😅

In the evening, we leave the park and stop on our way home to Abu Dhabi at 'Last Exit', where the many fun food trucks are. Last Exit is designed like Mad Max. We find it cool.

With a delicious cheese flatbread, we end the evening before heading back to Abu Dhabi for the final hour by car... and it’s still cozy warm outside!
