Arrived!!! Auckland...

'I never want to fly again' was probably mine and Paddy's favorite phrase on our 33-hour flight to New Zealand. But after being thoroughly checked and 'sniffed' by the dogs at the airport, all the hardships were quickly forgotten. We then took a bus into Auckland Queen Street where we were picked up around noon and in the evening we spent the evening on the terrace with our new roommates. It was a struggle for us to stay awake until 9pm ^^ It was not until today that we really realized that we are actually HERE - in NEW ZEALAND! Then our car arrived and we went to the insurance office....Paddy drives cool - I had mild panic attacks driving on the left side :D Overall, everything went like clockwork, the car is fine and I understood about 80% of what I actually signed up for when I took out the insurance :D Tonight we went to Auckland and met up with a friend. Tomorrow we will leave early for Waiheke Island and I am sooo excited. Despite it being winter, we have perfect weather. 15 degrees and sunshine.
