Rotorua and Te Puia

Unfortunately, the weather god is not so kind to us today. The sky is completely covered but no rain. After a leisurely breakfast, the geothermal museum is our destination for today. After waiting for some time for the geyser eruption, it actually shot up to about 20 meters high. It's quite impressive when you stand just 10 meters away. We took our time exploring the rest of the park with its many different trails, visited the Maori workshops, admired the living kiwis, and treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream afterwards.

In the evening, we visited some hotspots and had a foot bath right next to the holiday park (campground) before getting tired and getting into the camper for the night.
