After yesterday's long stage, a more relaxed tour to Zadar was planned. In the parking lot where Christian and I stayed overnight, there were a few construction workers in the morning, but they didn't disturb my tent. After a short detour to Novalia, we went to the town of Pag. At a viewpoint nearby, I met Seraina, a Swiss cyclist, with whom I was occasionally traveling together in the following days because we had a similar route plan. At the coast, the tour finally felt like a summer vacation. In the afternoon, it was warm enough to take a quick swim in the sea, although only for two minutes! A rest day was planned in the city of Zadar, of course with a Free Walking Tour. The city has a lot of historical buildings to offer, such as the St. Donatus Church or the fortress wall, but it is also known for its nightlife.
