Peru_2025 - Day 17: Amazonas

In the Jungle …

Waking up early, flying from Cusco to Puerto, and heading into the jungle. That's how the day began. After lunch, we took a boat trip to (no) Monkey Island, but unfortunately, we didn't see any monkeys. However, at our request, we got to swing on a vine once, which was included. And of course, for city kids, it's just something special. Before dinner, we went by boat in search of white caimans, which was successful. On top of that, I saw my first capybara in my life. After dinner, it was a quick shower (just one temperature) and getting ready for bed, as the next day involved the earliest wake-up call yet (tour start: 04:30).
