First of all, thank you for your comments on this blog - we are very happy to hear from you!!
The mood is tense and irritable. Ireen needs a break. The plan is obvious - the family must be separated, at least for a few hours. Ireen and Laura stay at home and the rest of us, after much persuasion and a long Google search, head to paradise: GINO PARADISE. We take a taxi, which costs 15 Lari on the way there and 20 Lari on the way back, which is totally okay: both trips allow Gustav to practice his Georgian and prevent the taxi driver from escaping. If Gustav understood everything correctly, the driver (15 Lari) used to be a dancer before his life as a taxi driver (and among other things, performed Georgian traditional dances in Berlin) and then a percussionist in Tbilisi, where he played with Art Blakey, among others. GINO is truly a paradise for us and we spend 7 hours there. Laura and Ireen rest during that time, as much as the heat allows. Tomorrow it's supposed to be just as hot and then slowly head back.
