Today we say goodbye to Yellowstone NP in subzero temperatures. However, we have stable weather conditions. Thanks to an early start at 6:00 AM, we were able to enjoy some great wildlife observations. The landscape, even outside the NP, was spectacular. We had a picnic lunch in Cody. On our way to Buffalo, we drove over a pass that is 3022 m high. At our destination, which is only a stopover, we immediately visited a pharmacy, as Beate and Anke have fallen ill too. Tests revealed that Regina and I have COVID, and the other two may have contracted it as well. We just have to get through this.
