Hello loves!
Today we had PortAventura Park on the agenda. We woke up early, got ready, and after a short 15-minute drive, we were already at the park. Of course, the turnstile didn't accept our tickets and we had to wait at the information counter. Guys, this was a perfect example of Spain... We had about six people in front of us and waited for two hours until it was finally our turn! The lady told us that the tickets were only valid for the previous season and that she wouldn't make any exceptions for us! First, we asked for the manager, then her superior - without success... The company had strict policies regarding this. We were furious, but decided to visit the park anyway and pay the 50 euros per person. After all, we were already there and the 12 euro parking ticket was also paid...
In the park itself, we had a lot of fun and since it wasn't peak season yet, we didn't have to wait too long. The maximum wait time was 40 minutes, and anyone who has been to such a park knows: that's nothing! We left the park around 4 pm and started looking for a place to stay overnight.
This time, we hit the jackpot again! Completely secluded, right on top of a cliff and right by the sea. We walked around the area for about an hour to explore everything. It's really beautiful here!
Now we're sitting outside, overlooking the sea, drinking wine and beer, and writing this post to you.
We're really enjoying the camper life! Being able to change the location every day, stay wherever we want (with views that would make a hotel almost unaffordable), and still be able to go anywhere if we're looking for something specific. Since time doesn't matter - or at least much less than in everyday life - we don't even discuss who cooks, does the dishes, or grabs a cloth. Somehow, we both still enjoy it.
We've also learned how to handle money extremely well by now. Of course, today at the park is not the best example, but otherwise, we live very cost-effectively.
But we think of all of you very often! We miss you and we're really looking forward to seeing you again during our stopover in May!
A big thank you to everyone who comments or "likes" - we get a message every time and we're happy that you're part of our adventure :)
We don't know exactly where we'll end up tomorrow... We'll decide spontaneously :)
In that sense, lots of love and see you tomorrow!
