L'Ametlla de Mar, Mofa-Tour ^^

Hello everyone

The day started again with beautiful sunshine. The weather was so nice that we took out our chairs and table to have breakfast outside. It was the first time we could do that. It was so much fun! We sat for a while and enjoyed the rays of the sun.

Since our diving tanks were empty, we took out our awesome air compressor to refill them. But somehow, it didn't work like we wanted it to... We were sure it was because of the fuel we had put in, which was actually meant for our moped and had oil in it. So we unloaded the moped and went to get clean gasoline. Since we were already on the way, we also explored the area a bit. It's much easier with two wheels... We ended up at a cute beach access - or something like that, anyway, there was a ladder to get into the water :)

Afterwards, we saw a half-abandoned house on the way. We already saw it with the camper, but we couldn't stop with it.

So we made a stop there as well. It was somehow really cool, all these graffiti and abandoned buildings fascinate both of us in a strange way. :)

But it was also a bit spooky... There were clothes lying around carelessly over and over again... Who just leaves their clothes behind? We didn't want to know what had happened here.......

Afterwards, we drove around a bit more and finally ended up back at our camper. Now we had to get rid of the old gasoline to refill the compressor. Of course, we had the brilliant idea to pour it out and set it on fire - at least we wouldn't leave any residues *embarrassed grin*

I've never seen anything like it and was completely fascinated by the sight of the 'burning stones'.

Finally, we actually managed it! The compressor ran smoothly and filled both tanks to the desired 220 bar! Really awesome! Just as we were filling them up, a few hikers came around the corner. They had already passed us this morning: people from Aargau who have had a house here for 30 years. Since the compressor is not exactly quiet, we were already prepared for a scolding, but it turned out completely different! One of the guys was an absolute moped fan and drilled Kevin about everything. The group was between 50 and 60 years old, and we could hardly believe their enthusiasm :)

After a short chat, they continued walking and we finished filling our tanks.

Nothing stands in the way of the next dive!

Cash check: Today's refill cost us only one liter of gasoline, so 1.40 euros. Last time, when we had the tanks filled at the dive center, it cost us 13 euros per tank, a total of 26 euros.

Today, we'll make ourselves comfortable here again, cook something delicious, and enjoy the evening.

Tomorrow, we'll definitely jump into the water! Afterwards, we'll continue towards the south.

Our next real destination is 'Alicante', but we definitely won't drive there tomorrow - after all, we still want to enjoy the scenery :)

Before we left, Dani said to us 'don't forget, the journey is the goal'. We're starting to realize how right she was, just now

:)

Take care and see you tomorrow :D
