Street art hotspot Aalborg

Since Banksy, street art has become part of the art scene and is perceived by the general public. Well-known precursors were Keith Haring in New York and Harald Nägeli in Zurich. Street art is not always clearly distinguishable from graffiti art, but it always involves publicly accessible works of art in public spaces - usually with a political message. Aalborg has become a street art hotspot in Northern Europe, with around 80 works spread across the entire city, admired on house facades, transformer boxes, gate entrances, railway facilities, and more.

Although our itinerary for today included continuing to Flensburg, we decided to embark on a discovery tour in the city center early in the morning and photographically capture our "findings".
