Got up early and took the first tour to the viewpoint in Dadia. We were able to observe over 40 vultures in total. 1 griffon vulture, 2 Egyptian vultures, and the rest were cinereous vultures. Also many ravens. We stayed until the second tour and continued observing.
It was really great to be able to observe these animals in the wild for such a long time.
Afterwards, we had breakfast.
Then we drove to and through the Evros Delta (between Greece and Turkey). We were able to observe many birds and reached the estuary.
Despite temperatures reaching 41 degrees Celsius at times, it was a unique tour that no other tourist is likely to take.
Cooled down, rested and ate at home.
