14.08.2018 - Kerkini, Dripstone Cave, Filipi, Kavala, Tychero (Dadia National Park)

Had a good breakfast. Packed, checked out and left.

Searched for the dog from the previous day, but did not find it.

Went via Serres towards Drama.

Visited the dripstone cave in Alestrati with a 1 hour guided tour, then visited the canyon. (http://www.alistraticave.gr/)

Continued past Megalokampos (old memory) to Drama, had a short visit by car and continued to Filipi (Philipoi). Studied and photographed the excavations and museum in detail, then continued 2 hours later. (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippi)

The drive through Kavala was beautiful and full of memories, although Eve was feeling sick. (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kavala)

Then continued to Tychero in the Dadia National Park, near the Turkish border.

Checked in at Hotel La Strada. Went to refuel and do some shopping. Had dinner at home later on.
