Motorhome pick up in the Eastbay, Napa Valley and Clearlake

Monday, October 9th, 2023, day 9

Today we left San Francisco, after eight days in San Francisco we went on an adventure tour in our motorhome. We took the BART from Powell Station to the East Bay and picked up our motorhome. The takeover was pretty straightforward, but it took over an hour because we wanted to properly understand every single switch and the propane gas supply, the refrigerator and everything else. Then we set off, first on the freeway north until we came to the world-famous Napa Valley. A huge wine-growing region with fantastic wines that are internationally known. Beautiful, extraordinary, unique landscape accompanied us. We really enjoyed driving slowly in the motorhome because our ability to perceive things around us was significantly better.

Finally we arrived at Clearlake and headed for the address of our friends, with whom we were supposed to have a small barbecue party this evening (on the terrace with a magnificent view over the large lake), and with whom we were staying overnight, despite the fact that the motorhome was downstairs The house is parked in the garage entrance.
