Day 3 | Le Etables sur Mer - Brehec

The third day... After a restful night and a typical French breakfast at Ludo's, we start our day early in the morning without rain! We quickly find the path and keep the sea to our right 😊 This section is extremely challenging with steep ascents and descents that remind me of climbing... just what I love 🙄

The light drizzle that starts around noon hardly bothers us. Today we try out the 'Heipy' rain ponchos 😅 ... they are easy to put on and take off 👍 Unfortunately, they don't look very stylish... but that's not what matters here 😊

The path shows us today how important it is to be in the here and now. Always fully focused on each step... no wandering thoughts allowed. If only life were always so 'simple' 😅

But unfortunately, the heavy rain starts again around the 25 km mark... the mood fluctuates and taking a wrong turn through jungle-like greenery adds to the frustration. And as so often in life, a single step can change more than you think 🙄 The hotel is already in sight... with rain in our faces and the first beautiful pink granite rocks... unfortunately very wet and slippery. I notice as I'm falling that we have a problem 🙈 With Anja's help, I manage to make it to the hotel... we decide to wait for the morning. What a bummer 😥
