The second day... After a hearty breakfast, we try to reach the GR34. After initial difficulties and detours, we finally reach the sea 😀 Unfortunately, the weather forecast for today proves to be true. Starting from 9:00 AM, there is a mix of light drizzle and heavy rain. After some initial acceptance issues, we embrace the weather and make the best of it 👍 However, once we realized that it's sunny back home, we wondered what went wrong 🤔 We decided that one of the lessons of this hike is accepting and selflessly wishing happiness for others... but starting tomorrow, we would also like some sun 😂 and dry clothes!
Additionally, today reminded us of the truly challenging ascents and descents, with wet ground and gravel... always close to the cliffs. The fear of heights was once again overcome today 😊 Unlike last year, we were not alone on the trail. The French people are always very nice and helpful! If only we could speak the language 🙈
Right on the 27 km mark, there was heavy rain again and we were completely drenched in front of Ludovic's door. But since he had just finished a 10-hour trail run, it worked out... and in the evening, we went another 3 km to the next bar 🥂 without any rain 😅
Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't rain as much tomorrow 👍 but no matter what... we will continue on the path of the Zöllnerpfad and its lessons 🙏 Mashallah
