Packing backpack

Today it was time to pack the backpack (by the way, I have this one: http://www.deuter.com/EN/en/trekking-backpacks/act-lite-35-plus-10-sl-3340015.html). 35 liters is not a lot, but more than enough for comfortable travel... someday I want to manage to travel the world with just carry-on luggage (like Conni from http://www.planetbackpack.de/). It's much faster at check-in, no more long waits at the baggage carousel, and overall you can get out of the airport much quicker.

The best way to pack your backpack/suitcase? Roll your clothes, it saves space and helps you keep track of everything you have! I also got some 'packing cubes' to organize my stuff. In the first one, I have underwear, socks, and my bikini, in the second one: a pair of jeans, 2 leggings, 3 shorts, 3 t-shirts, 2 tops, 2 lightweight sweaters, and a hoodie. Another sweater is just stuffed into the backpack, and I'm taking another very thick one on the plane, so I won't get sick on the way there because of the air conditioning :D

I'm using a pretty large microfiber towel as a towel, it folds up super small, so it takes up very little space, it's antibacterial, and it dries extremely fast - perfect for a trip like this.

In my carry-on, apart from a notebook/travel diary, my beloved GoPro is of course an essential!!

After sleeping so poorly on my last flight that my neck hurt for 3 days, I decided to take an inflatable neck pillow with me this time and hope it's worth it...

I'm actually starting to get excited, even though I didn't expect that...
