Minimalism
For about two weeks now, our furniture has been limited to the kitchen cabinets, a couch, a lowboard, a bed, three chairs, and the washing machine. A lot of it was picked

It’s done! After a long period of preparation and plenty of instant soup over the last few days, we’ve taken another big step forward and were able to hand over the apartment to the landlord without any issues. We’d given everything a thorough cleaning one last time, but the spiders kept coming back and were busy spinning their webs.
The last night on the air mattress was a bit chilly, despite all the blankets piled on top of and underneath it. We had some properly cold and wet weather to say goodbye.
Over the last few days, my dad picked up a few more things, and the couch and washing machine have found a new home in Zorneding. As a thank-you, the people who picked up the items invited us to a Lebanese meal in Munich, since they’ve already received a lot of furniture from us. It was delicious, and we were already more than full after the appetizers.
We’ve been meeting up a lot with our friends and neighbors over the last three weeks to say goodbye, since we probably won’t see each other in person again this year. I’m going to miss my girls so much!
Now we’re waiting for our flight to Italy to spend a few more nice days with Simon’s parents, and then we’re heading to my parents’ place in Upper Franconia until the end of April.
