Wedding Bells
... Well, there probably won’t be any bells, but I’m already looking forward to our wedding. We’re keeping it small, so only our parents will be there for the ceremony at

Yesterday, there was another swap event with the girls from my friend circle. We swap items we no longer need—like dishes, clothes, decorations, water bottles, or mugs—while enjoying a glass of wine.
I actually didn’t plan on taking anything home, since I’m trying to downsize for certain reasons, but I ended up taking a pair of jeans and a few pens.
We’ve reached that point again where everything is breaking and really needs to be replaced.
A pair of jeans already ended up in the trash the other day because they had a hole running through them, along with a few pairs of socks with holes. Some things also needed to be sewn, like my snowboard jacket and another pair of jeans... That’s just how it goes.
Another bitter loss is my trusty backpack, which unfortunately didn’t survive the last trip to my parents’ house and now has several large holes in the bottom. But at the swap event, I was able to find a replacement for that, too.
Of course, I brought a few things to the event myself, so the closets are gradually getting emptier. For example, I rigorously sorted through my jewelry and managed to pass on some dishes, storage items, and even some curlers still in their original packaging. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten rid of everything yet, but at least a part of it.
Since we regularly celebrate Halloween parties with our friends, we’ve accumulated quite a collection of costumes by now. Luckily, someone in the neighborhood was looking for some things for Carnival, so I was able to get rid of a few more items right away.
I’m still a bit unsure about the larger household items, like the kitchen, cabinets, treadmill, and terrarium with its resident. For these, I hope we’ll get enough advance notice from the new homeowner. However, no listing has been posted yet.
