Day 5

Published: 07.10.2024

Today, I had two highlights on my list... or so I thought. But guess what? It turned into four!

First up was an Origami class, and lucky me, the master himself was there, folding paper like a wizard. His skills were absolutely mind-blowing! I managed to create a Santa Claus—though it took a "lot" of imagination to see it, haha. Feeling brave, I bought some paper to attempt a sailing boat with sailors next... so, stay tuned for the masterpiece! 😉

Next, I visited the Senso-ji Temple. Yes, it was a bit crowded, but the experience was still spectacular, especially with all the beautifully dressed ladies and gentlemen in kimonos adding to the charm.

Feeling quite pleased with myself, I headed back to the hotel. But, lo and behold, a Japanese massage place popped up on my radar, almost like it was calling my name! Two hours of Japanese acupressure bliss later, I was floating out of there on cloud nine. Seriously, I think I "waked" on clouds.

To top it all off, a friend of Zoe, Ariane had recommended a gourmet sushi spot. Let me tell you—it was divine! Authentic, original, and the sake went down like water. The place was in a super cool area of Tokyo, filled with artsy shops and giving me a whole new perspective on the city. What a day!

That sounded like a magnificent day-especially the massage although very curious about the Santa Claus!!!

I will show it to you when I am back. It seriously needs a lot of fantasy to see him ;-)
