Day 69 and 70. Friday, March 6, 2015 Bangkok

So my dear ones, now it's time for Day 70, what does that mean? Well, for me, a wonderful journey is coming to an end. A dreamlike, seemingly endless journey in which I have seen so much beauty and met many people.

Now I have spent the last 2 days here in Bangkok and of course discovered new things, places that were hidden from me before. I enjoyed very good Thai food again and to top it off, I almost want to say I got my first Thai massage. Thanks to my dear friend Tui (whom I fortunately met in Laos), his daughter Toon, and his wife, I experienced another (last) day of superlatives. For example, I ate one of the best Pad Thai (Pad Thai restaurant in the 6th generation) on my journey, you can only get something like this off the beaten tourist path.

Once again, I took an express boat on the Chao Phaya and then visited one of these great and colorful markets again.

Afterwards, I took a taxi back to Bangkok city where, as already mentioned, a perfect Thai massage was on the program in the early evening, this was a super experience that I was able to enjoy for a whole 2 hours. It was the best massage ever (all the previous massages would probably turn out to be tourist programs in comparison).

Thank you Tui and your family for this perfect day.

Now the time had come for me to go to the airport and say goodbye to the beautiful country. One thing is already certain, I will come back!!!

Let's see what the future brings and where it will take me next, I don't know yet, there are plenty of ideas, you will find out...
