We conquered perhaps the most famous mile in the States this morning. In Chattanooga, there is the so-called Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, which overcomes an 80-degree slope... Insane and connected with a great view over 6 states.
Then we visited the famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo train. Today, it is a hotel with a magnificent entrance hall where you can stay in the wagons... You don't know the train? Then you surely know the special train to Pankow by Udo Lindenberg. In the original song by Glen Miller, this train is sung about! - Educational mission fulfilled.
Then our destination for the day was Gatlinburg in the Smoky Mountains. Directly before that, we passed through Pigeon Forge... Holy moly... Las Vegas in a small format, a huge playground for young and old and the whole city. Completely crazy. Then the beautiful Smoky Mountains National Park, magnificent landscape but we didn't spot any bears. Then Gatlinburg... A touch of Tyrol or Garmisch runs through the town, jubilation bustle cheerfulness and lots of hut fun. A place full of good vibes... No chance for parking or even spending the night with our V10 monster!
So we continued... I really liked Tennessee, on a mountaintop we entered North Carolina. And here we are again on a Walmart parking lot... Oh yes, an hour ago we drove through Cherokee and saw Indians, albeit on a motorcycle, but still... Another beautiful day with temperatures well over 30 degrees...
