I suggest you stay put in Europe, America or wherever you came from. Africa isn't for you. You writing puts me off. Appreciate people as they are.

We see things differently, but the gorilla conservation has done better than you think. Coming to Africa, you don't come with a judgemental mindset, be open minded to learn, and you will know the advantage these former hunter and food gatherers have. When you come to undertook, instead if learning what's going on, all you do is judge, you will gain nothing from your adventure. Respect Africans and their programs. Do you want to tell me that being in the forest would have been better today??? Did you try to find out how gorilla conservation has impacted these communities??? Have you researched about how many pygmies are employed in the gorilla conservation programs??? Did you learn about the community based projects around the conservation areas???

Sorry if you experienced a lot less than what you considered to be your standards. I am currently training Women and young girls deep in the Lake victoria Islands how to play Professional Netball. If one day one of these girls comes to your nation to play Netball, they will appreciate your standards. I could have gone to the modern centers to look for Easy life and players, My point is that a Human is a human. Try to raise the least Fortunate by appreciating the little they have, or the little they are. If what you say is true that the plane flew over lake Victoria, well just beneath you, I was and still am on one of these islands training young girls on life skills besides Netball. Even your home country must have atleast a few less privileged. But you Love them the way they are🙏

Mr or miss writer you need to do research about the kind of life the batwa group used to live before the Gorilla conservation. There is nothing positive about your article and btw that's my home area did you use the knowledge of the guide or you just chose to use your thinking?

Your story isn’t flowing, each part feels extremely disconnected. You must have failed learning English yet you’re forcing it. Also, it seems some one told you the story however much you’ve the pictures of the places moved in. It seems you also grew more in an urbanized community that does not appreciate life out side such a community. Sorry if I’m too judgemental but I needed not to accept your naive essay.

True Uganda the country has so many problems and is still under developed. You must have known that before you went there. I am sure your story was preset in your mind ( even before you travelled) to amuse a European readership. It may be best you return to your 9-5 mundane job, winter to summer, in a more developed environment you come from. And by the way, the European readership you are trying to amuse are now more enlightened in this global village age.

Coming from a country where the Internet is accessible for all, I would have expected you to do your research before taking a journey of thousands of miles, only to end up un informed. Please, next time you decide to go somewhere out of your comfort zone, do your research.

I think you should rather appreciate the whole unpleasant experience than portraying as bad. Its the reason you are a tourist anyway, to discover and experience the unusual.
