标签 19 - 威尼斯海滩，圣塔莫尼卡与加州告别

我们在加州的最后一天从Airbnb的快速早餐开始。之后，我们把运动和游泳的东西放进车里，前往著名的威尼斯海滩。马克非常有激情，沿着海边短暂慢跑，而我悠闲地在步道上漫步，感受街头艺人、小商店和运动员的五彩缤纷的混合，尽情享受特别的氛围。

我们在肌肉海滩约好了见面， fascinatedly watching the athletes train for a while. Immediately next to it, we also watched the skaters in the skatepark—the colorful hustle and bustle, the music, and the waves in the background made the atmosphere unique. After a cappuccino and some strolling (including the last round of souvenir shopping 😉), we retrieved our swim gear and settled on the beach for a few hours. Sun, sand, and sea—the perfect setting for our last day. Suddenly, we spotted three dorsal fins on the shore that suspiciously looked like shark fins. Since we now know what whales and dolphins look like in the water, we were quite sure that this time they were indeed sharks. 🦈

In the afternoon, we drove back to the Airbnb, rested a bit, and then calmly got ready for our last evening. Of course, my newly purchased cowboy boots had to be worn out once more! Our destination was Santa Monica: first, we enjoyed a delicious Asian dinner before strolling to the famous pier. As the sun set and the ocean waves roared with the brilliance of lights, we concluded our last evening there—a perfect end to our journey.

On the next morning, it was time to say goodbye. Luckily, the departure went smoothly, even though Marc briefly panicked because the counters at the airport were of course not yet signposted or open 6.5 hours before departure 🤣. After a quick lunch at Buger King, we waited at the gate and finally embarked on our home flight, filled with wonderful memories, tired but incredibly happy.
