Before we started from Rio Grande to Ushuaia on Sunday, 16.02., gifts were exchanged in the police accommodation. A group of cadets had also gathered for this purpose. We were also greeted by the police in Ushuaia. After we received a small meal, we drove to the end of Ruta 3, the end of the last drivable road in South America. Distance from home about 14,000 km and only about 1,000 km away from Antarctica. Then we drove to the last post office on South American soil. Unfortunately, it was already closed, otherwise we would have received an "End of the World" stamp in our passport. Finally, we were taken to our accommodation, a decommissioned police station.
