We left Lake Ossiach prematurely and it started raining again. Actually, we had quite a few rainy days in Austria when I think about it...
At our next stop, the Ramsbacher campsite in Rennweg am Katschberg, it was also so cold during the day due to the altitude of 1,300m that we only stayed here for 2 days. We used a cloudy but rain-free morning for a short bike ride through Pöllatal.
Then we continued to our last stop in Austria: the Lindenstrand campsite on Lake Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut region.
On the second evening, a storm came up and we had to prevent the awning from lifting off together, while our (closed but unfortunately not locked) front window said goodbye 😱 Fortunately, no one was injured by the flying part and Daniel was able to temporarily attach it, so that it will hold for the last week at the campsite and hopefully also for the journey back home...
Lake Wolfgang is much clearer than Lake Ossiach and the campsite is also full, but more spacious. The weather also improved again, so we spent a lot of time swimming and lazing around.
Tomorrow (Thursday) we will pack up our stuff one last time and then head back to Fliegenberg. We will most likely be back home on Saturday evening and will then check in with one final blog post.
