After a relaxed breakfast, we went from our hotel to the train station and then took the Shinkansen towards Osaka. Our last stop in Japan 🇯🇵.
That has to be mentioned here too 😅 Kian is teething extremely and is therefore in a bad mood much more often than usual. Nevertheless, he is very brave and does a great job, but at times it probably hurts him a lot. He needs a lot of closeness, which of course we give him. That's why our days are a little more relaxed at the moment. He should be fine ❤️
We arrived in Osaka on time and took the subway to the hotel. When we got there we had to show our reservation. And then it turned out: we had gone to the wrong hotel 😂
I simply entered the name into Google Maps and we drove off. It's just stupid that there are two hotels in the same chain that have almost exactly the same name 😂 (Fresa in - Osaka-Namba and Fresa Grand - Osaka-Namba)
Good thing it was only a 10 minute walk to the right hotel. When we got there we couldn't check in, but we could at least unload our luggage.
That's a bit annoying about Japan 😂 They stick to the rules even more than Germans. If check-in all over the country doesn't open until 3, then it doesn't open until 3. It doesn't matter whether the rooms are ready. It opens at 3. Not half past 3, not ten to 3 — at 3.
Without any luggage, we headed straight into the hustle and bustle. The lively Dotonbori district is right next to our hotel and I'll tell you straight away, I haven't seen so many people the entire trip.
It felt like the whole of Japan was walking through the streets yesterday. But it's really impressive. This is how we imagined Japan: crowded, loud and full of colorful and bright advertisements.
We strolled through the alleys, which seemed endless, and finally decided to go eat ramen.
A very tasty premiere. It tasted really good.
Afterwards we went to the hotel and slept - after all, we still have a lot to do on our last day in Japan and should be well rested.
