After the pool I lay down in the sun for a while. There are mostly older people in the hotel and the staff is really friendly. Then I went to the weight room and did a little workout. I have to say that the fitness room is well equipped. Afterwards I took a quick shower and went to bed. I had thought about whether I might. I'll also take a hostel for further accommodation, but I'm starting to like the luxury. I mean, an extra room isn't necessary, but a single room makes sense just because of luggage. And I've already looked. There are a lot of hotels in Cusco that cost around $200 for 7 days. You cant complain. Then I went back into the city center. It's really crowded here in the evenings, lots of people sit outside in the park. I grabbed something to eat for the hotel and went to the tourism center to register for the food tour tomorrow morning. At the hotel I asked if the air conditioning was broken and if I could get a fan. I was told someone was coming up. As I come into my room and turn on a light switch on the bed with the intention of turning on the light, the air conditioning suddenly turns on at full blast. I could have thought of it sooner. And with air conditioning you can sleep much better here. I ate two pieces of cake and a few chips and then went to bed relatively early because I had taken almost 30,000 steps that day and was probably exhausted from the day.
I'm slowly arriving in Peru. I definitely have to plan the rest of the trip tomorrow.
In that sense: good night
