Farewell party

Yesterday was another hot day. The difference between Paraguay and Germany will be enormous. Just when I got used to the climate here, I'm flying back to the cold again.

To bring a little bit of summer feeling to Germany, we went shopping for a typical Paraguayan hammock yesterday. I hope it finds a nice place in my parents' garden=)

The afternoon was otherwise very relaxed. Meche cooked polenta =) =)

We spent the afternoon resting and relaxing because a small farewell party was planned for the evening.

Pichu really enjoyed it. ;-)

I was allowed to invite some friends for the party. Meche's grandmother and aunt also came by. Meche's mom sings in the choir at events or weddings. Especially for me, they performed typical Paraguayan folklore songs. Unfortunately, I can't post any videos here. But it was really beautiful!

Later in the evening, everyone wanted to hear typical beer tent music and enthusiastically sang along to the lyrics :-D
