Take the bus to the city. Start with the Te Papa Museum (the largest in New Zealand). There is a lot of child-friendly activities, including an earthquake simulation in a small house. Then we stroll through Wellington. Beautiful old houses among skyscrapers. We have lunch in the green areas in front of the Parliament building (the beehive). Walk back along the harbor. The walk turns into a hike of about 10km. We walk along the waterfront, bay by bay, back to Evans Bay where the camper is parked. It's Malte's record. And all of this in quite strong winds. After a hot soup, the three of us fall into bed.
