Tag 10 | 20.10.2016 Auckland, Whatipu

Today we had to check out at 10 and then picked up the remaining money for Otis. That was a struggle, but thankfully everything worked out great.

At 3, Shane's mother picked us up and brought us to our car.

After a bit of bureaucracy, we were finally on our way. First, we went to Pizza Hut and Warehouse, a huge hardware store where you can get everything you need.

Where are we sleeping tonight? The time of expensive hostels is behind us, so we headed to a pretty remote campground, which could only be reached by a road through the deepest jungle of New Zealand. Just before the sunset, we finally arrived at a campground that was located between rainforest and beach. It was amazing!

With the lighthouse in sight and the sound of the sea in our ears, we spent our first night in Otis.
