On the day of departure

Now it's finally time, our long-awaited day has come. The adventure can begin.

And of course, all of this wouldn't be complete without a hearty breakfast à la 'Lösch' :).

Picked up at 8:30 in the morning, we drove to Jessy's Family with bubbling nervousness. The farewell breakfast was on the agenda.

And it was more than fantastic!!!! Homemade bread rolls, a lovingly handcrafted mobile, a beautifully set table, and so many delicious treats that you would want to disappear for 9 months every day. From croissants to eggs, meat salad, minced meat, tomato mozzarella and and and... there damn well was everything that makes the heart beat faster. It goes without saying that there was champagne :)

Thank you for putting in so much effort!! Especially Ulla ;)

And so we set off in a very good mood and of course, stuffed with food - towards the airport. Frankfurt is calling!

Finally arrived at the starting point of our adventure, saying goodbye wasn't quite as easy.... see for yourself!

And off we go.....cheers to us!!
