What can I say: I can't emphasize enough how enchanted I am by the fact of living near the sea. It naturally attracts me there regularly, how could it be otherwise :)
There are plenty of beaches around Melbourne's Bay and I spend most of my time at Hampton Beach because it's the closest to the house. Today was one of those days when I felt drawn to the sea. I had the day off and a great desire for a beach walk. It was also only 24 degrees, so perfect for me (last week we constantly had around 35 degrees, which was a bit too hot for me). But since I was working a lot, the heat was somehow bearable ;)So I arrived at the beach and was amazed to see that there was simply no one on the beach. A dream! You have to know that for Australians, it's generally too cold to swim if the outside temperature is less than 30 degrees. Nadine is now also part of this species ;)The sky was a bit cloudy at the beginning of my walk, but later the sun came out and a few more people came with it. By a few, I mean about 10. I really appreciate this luxury of being able to go to the beach during the week and I'm happy every time when the sea washes over my feet and the sun tickles my nose. Thank you also for the many snow pictures from Germany, I'm sending some sun back ;)Enough talking, here are some pictures of the beach in front of the door :)
