In the morning we had booked a tour to the old capital of the island of La Laguna. Santa Cruz, where we are located, is right next to it and only a stone's throw from la laguna. Santa Cruz is more of an economic city than something to look at.
La laguna has little corners and this weekend you can still experience the island's carnival fever. After a short shopping tour in a typical market hall, we continued towards the wine museum where we were able to watch a documentary about wine production. We did a wine tasting in a small botega near Puerto de la Cruz, but without any explanation. But we had a nice time and had fun as always. I also have delicious Canary Island potatoes and mojo picobello.
Back on the ship it was time for a siesta for all of us. A day like this is draining. But we didn't miss anything because it's raining on Tenerife now.
In the evening we ate classic music in the Atlantic and experienced the sailing in a different way. After the captain announced that there would be waves, we all have respect for the coming hours. Monday's experience was enough for us
