Hello there,
Today our route took us away from the South Coast and inland on our way to Duncan on the East Coast. Along the way, we passed by Lake Cowichan, where we made a stop at a bay with the beautiful name Honeymoon Bay. After another stop at Tim Hortons to get Wi-Fi again after a few days, we continued on to Duncan and from there to Kinsol Trestle. It is a huge wooden railway bridge that is no longer used by trains and can now be crossed on foot.
After that, we went to Chemainus, where we found accommodation through an app. A parking lot next to a playground right by the sea. And the view was really beautiful, especially during sunset when the whole sky turned pink. There were also several divers on site, but they disappeared when it got dark.
