Today we had another highlight on the agenda - a rafting tour on the Horseshoe River. That meant getting up early because the meeting was already at 8:10.
After we had the wetsuits, helmets and life jackets, we got on two retired school buses to go to the river. There we had another safety briefing and then we were off...
The Horseshoe River is a Class 4 river with a lot of speed, rapids and the guarantee of getting wet and having to paddle hard. The section is located in a First Nations reserve and since there are only two providers with the necessary licenses, you are practically alone on the river and in nature.
It was an amazing experience! I will upload the pictures as soon as they are available online on the rafting provider's website ✌🏻
