Nelson:
Doctor's visit: Collingwood Health Centre Nelson

Since my finger did not really improve, I went to the doctor. After my finger was X-rayed, I learned that there were fractures on both sides of my finger bone. The doctor simply taped/glued my middle finger, ring finger, and little finger together. Overall, I was overwhelmed during my doctor's visit because I did not understand much and did not know what to do.

The Grampions: The hiking trails are super beautiful and at the end you have a great view of Nelson from the platform.

Abel Tasman National Park: Kayaking + Hiking

The bus was supposed to pick up another person and me from Nelson at 7:00 am, but unfortunately no bus came. After waiting for about 45 minutes, the other person called the kayak company. With a delay of about an hour, we finally arrived in Marahau.

Kayaking was incredibly beautiful. We saw seals and had lunch on the beach after kayaking. Then we walked back to the kayak company along the Abel Tasman Track. Although it rained a lot during the hike, it was a very beautiful day.

Motueka (Ngatimoti): Farm (WWOOF)
Hare Krishna Farm
Stay from 02.10.2016 - 12.10.2016
Working hours: approx. 9:00 am - 1:00 pm -> Working in the field, in the greenhouse or in the kitchen
- Weeding, planting seeds, harvesting vegetables and preparing for the market in Nelson, etc.
I enjoyed most of the work on the farm and the hosts and the other WWOOFers were very nice.
There was delicious Indian food.
The landscape was very beautiful, but there was not much to do because the farm is about 20 minutes by car from the city center of Motueka.
My free afternoons: walks along the river or along the road (sometimes with the other WWOOFers)
