After the ferry, we drove a few more kilometers along the coastal road before turning inland and saying goodbye to Max. We reached our new campsite near Namsskogan with sufficient stream water for our daily shower.
The next day started off great as we woke up to countless mosquito bites at 3:30 am. Perfect timing, as the rain didn't take long to follow, so we packed our things and left. Our destination for the day was Åndalsnes. Luckily, the 620km journey was mostly dry and we arrived safely at our hostel.
The following day was very rainy, giving us the opportunity to explore the small town. Admittedly, there wasn't much to see, except for a cable car to Romsdalseggen, which wasn't operating due to bad weather conditions.
Today, we were already on our motorcycles at 7 am and rode across Trollstigen and Geiranger to Loen. You can see how beautiful it was in our pictures. Only 166km of travel for the day, but we were already in our new accommodation at Lovatnet in the afternoon, followed by a kayak tour and a day of swimming in the relatively warm lake. A perfect end to the day with a breathtaking view from our cabin.
